Riyo means “Dream” in Somali.
I chose the name Riyo because every person I work with has a dream.
For some, that dream is buying their first home. For others, it is finding a larger home for a growing family, purchasing an investment property, or expanding a business they have worked years to build.
My name is Mohamud Mohamed, and I have been a real estate agent for more than eight years. But my connection to real estate goes far beyond contracts, negotiations, and closing tables.
As an immigrant, I understand what it means to start with a dream and face challenges along the way. I understand the sacrifices families make, the long hours they work, and the uncertainty they sometimes experience while trying to build a better future in a new country.
